Meadville, PA – The annual Allegheny College Senior Recognition Day will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on the campus of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Senior Day will begin with registration and a lite continental breakfast. A warm welcome by Allegheny College Provost Ron Cole will take place in the morning followed by some morning entertainment.
At 10:40 it’s off to morning sessions. Participants will have a choice of many special workshops and lectures. Allegheny faculty and students will lead a wide range of choices from current events, cooking, biology, the arts, self-defense techniques and local Crawford County history. Lunch will be provided at the beautiful Schultz Banquet Hall. Seniors will enjoy special entertainment following lunch. Festivities will wrap up at 1:30 p.m.
This special day is open to the public, people aged 60 years and over, who want to attend these fun learning opportunities. Limited transportation is available from Crawford County Senior Centers.
