The 2017 Class of Leadership Meadville will hold the 8th Annual Chili, Chowder and Soup Cookoff from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 23rd at its new location, Italian Civic Club, 869 Water Street in Meadville.
Twenty-one eateries in the Meadville area will compete for the titles of best Chili, Chowder and Soup. Come warm up with culinary creations made by Bethesda Children's Home, Butch's Pub, Chovy's Italian Casual, The Country Club, Cracker Barrel, Downtown Mall Bistro, Firehouse Tap & Grille, Hunter's Inn, King's Family Restaurant, LIFE NWPA, Making memories Catering, Montana's Rib & Chop House, PA Sandwich Co., Pampered Palate Catering & Conference Center, Park Avenue Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Rolling Fields, Saegertown Legion Post 205, Smoky Martins BBQ, Walt’s Tavern, Wesbury, Zest Kitchen and Pantry. There will be a panel of judges to select the winners of each of the categories and the general public will vote for the People’s Choice Award.
Other highlights of the evening include 50/50 and basket raffles as well as live music by Necessary Experience. Don’t miss the “hottest” event of the spring!
Tickets are available for $10 (presale) at the Meadville Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce (908 Diamond Park, Meadville) and at the Crawford County Convention & Visitors Bureau (16709 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville). Tickets will be $15 at the door.
