Sat. Fundraiser @ PVFD for Guys Mills Man w/ Sezary Syndrome, rare cancer

Imagine a single medical treatment each month having a $148,000 price tag.  That 's what a Guys Mills family must cope with.  Pat Reynolds has stage four of a very rare cancer called Sezary Syndrome.  It will only respond to interferon chemo.  Insurance covers less than one percent of the cost.  Significantly less.

Reynolds is a former resident of Pleasantville and folks in the area have arranged a benefit spaghetti dinner at the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Hall Saturday, March 11th  from 6 to 10 pm.  Musical entertainment is on tap, raffles, auctions, fifty fifties and a photo booth are part of the evening's activities.  Entrance is by admission fee but is BYOB.  The proceeds all go to fighting Reynold's cancer.

More information about the fundraiser is available by calling Susan or Brian at 814-589-7352.
